First things first.

Hello hello!

This blog is mainly so I don't spam up my friends lists on Facebook and other places where my ramblings are not wanted.

A bit about me?

I'm a college student at Emory University, studying Biology and English. I usually draw and doodle but I have never been very crafty when it comes to sewing and the like. This is partially what this blog is for - to document my clumsy attempts at learning some of those skills.

I believe that college students act our age by averages... we bounce from serious discussion befitting 40-year-old professionals to being excited about funfetti cupcakes as if we were 2. Annabel is part of that. I got her for my 21st birthday, and have enjoyed exploring the world of BJD customization.

A bit about Annabel?

Her name isn't actually Annabel Lee... it's just Annabel Robin. But using a bit of the poem was just too good to pass up.

She's not a full-sized dollfie, only a 25 cm body. Similarly, she's kind of a cheap doll, made by Obitsu and not Volks. But I like the way she looks. Right now she has wine-red hair (I may shift to a more natural red eventually), green eyes, and a medium soft-torso 25 cm body. I have a bad job of it right now but I do want her to eventually have freckles (both on her face and on her arms and back) and rosy cheeks/nose.

I post a lot at The Lunar Ark since such small bjds aren't usually welcome at the larger forums (to my disappointment). But even though it is quiet, all the people there are extremely friendly, and I'm glad I found them!
